A beautiful painting in the manner of Mondriaan combined with Richter’s way of applying paint. Straight black lines combined with primary colours which have been applied in two layers. The top colour is not completely covering the bottom one and thus creating an eroded effect. Combining both Mondriaan and Richter‘s style ensures a surprising and successful result every time. By working and experimenting with different techniques and styles I rather soon started with my ” Mondriaan meets Richter” series. And I still draw inspiration from both. The use of primary colours, too, is something I use a lot in my works. For questions about this painting feel free to reach out to me.
