Mondriaan Meets Richter II

A beautiful painting in the manner of Mondriaan combined with Richter’s way of applying paint. Straight black lines combined with primairy colours which have been applied in two layers. The top colour is not completely covering the bottom one and thus creating an eroded effect. Combining both Mondriaan and Richter‘s style ensures a surprising and succesful result every time. By working and experimenting with different techniques and styles I rather soon started with my ” Mondriaan meets Richter” series. And I still draw inspiration from both.
