The bumblebee. Yellow black do-gooder. In this case a modern yellow and black painting. The colour combination yellow, black and white is a combination i use a lot. For me this works really well and it leads to stunning results all the time. The background has been applied with palette knife and then smeared out. This has to be one of my favorite tools to use when painting. The foreground yellow has partially been applied in the same way. The upperlayer has been thrown onto the canvas using a stirring stick. It looks evenly spread over the canvas and thus appears to glow. The sporadic red and blue splashes are a playful touch. For question about this work feel free to contact me.
