A truly stuning modern painting in classic frame. Just so happy I found this old frame with its original canvas. Whatever the original painting depicted I do not know anymore. It might have been a village scene. I overpainted the canvas in white and than applied blue, diluted and undiluted, in different thicknesses. This way it looks like multiple blue tones have been used where its just the same blue all over. The frame perfectly fits the highly dynamic representation.
