This beautiful work with its striking colour combination represents the finding of the Higgs Boson, or God particle. It was found by letting protons smash into each other at high velocity. And that’s what is depicted here: the scattering of matter. The paint has been diluted and is poured/ thrown onto the canvas in a cup. This gives the illusion of matter flying away from the center. It is an old canvas with original frame. Frame can show traces of age (small chips and damages).

This particle was found by letting protons collide with each other at high speeds. This is exactly what i have tried to depict here: the shattering of matter. The paint has been diluted and is poured/ thrown onto the canvas in a cup. This gives the illusion of matter flying away from the center. It is an old canvas with original frame which I found online. This too is a truly stunning frame and therefor I am most proud of the result. Frame can show traces of age and use (small chips and damages).
