Patchwork Quilt

A blue sort of gridwork with bright colours in between. The whole makes one think of a thick and cosy patchwork quilt in which all the different coloured pieces of fabric are sewed together. In this case the blue gridwork as well as the colour fillings have been applied with a brush. Right hereafter the palete knife has been pulled horizontally and vertically across the canvas to get to that nice interplay of colours.
