A beautiful modern diptych. The styles i have combined are those of Mondriaan and Gerhard Richter. Both painters are true masters in their genre. By combining elements of both styles, I made a new, jet recognisable new work. Best of two worlds, so to speak. The straight lines often used by Mondriaan, are in high contrast with the background colours which too, are characteristic for him. The colours itself are in great contrast with the black and white lines which traverse both halves. Despite this all, it really fits wel together. The way of applying the paint, is reminiscent of Richters way of working. For more questions about this diptych, feel free to reach out to me.
