ACTION PAINTING BY BABO ART

Looking for a Jackson Pollock style painting? Then you’ve come to the right place. The highly reconizable style which Jackon Pollock is most famout for, drip art, or action painting, is a style of which a lot of people say “ha, i can do that, too” Well, maybe yes. But then again, you have to do it first. I’m doing this now for several years and i think i can say that i do master the technique quite well. See for yourself my collection drip art paintings

Mainly working with lacquer but also acrylics sometimes – in combination with the lacquer, that is. I apply paint with a paint stirring stick. I personally feel this works best for me for “throwing” the paint. With such a stirring stick, you have most control and even with something simple as this stick, there are many ways to throw the paint. Furthermore i do use brushes, spoons and palette knives, too. If something else comes in range, i will try that, too.

What can i do for you? First of all, my collection which is offered on my website. If nothing for you there, then, in agreement, there is the possibility to have a painting custom made. You let me know what colours you’d like to have applied in your painting. What colours get a main role and what colours get a supporting one. I will have the process started and together we give direction to it.

All my works are unique pieces and even if i wanted to, and sometimes i do, it is virtually impossible to make two the same. As you might understand the paint will not splash on the exact same spot twice. That’s what makes it so much fun. Always something surprisingly come’s out. Even if at first that was not how it was meant to be. Or shouldn’t I say that? What counts is, whether you like it.
